The Labyrinth

In memory of Lorraine Sprout

The labyrinth is found in the south lawn. The stones outline the grassed path that you can walk.

Your life is a sacred journey.

A Labyrinth is an ancient pattern found in cultures around the world to symbolize wholeness.  it combines the imagery of the circle and spiral into a meandering but purposeful path as a meditation or prayer tool.

A Labyrinth is not a maze.  it is a path, not a puzzle.  There are no tricks and no dead ends.  A sing circuitous path winds into the center. The same path then lead the way out.  There is only one choice to be made: to enter or not.

A Labyrinth is a model of that journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are, a greater sense of inner peace, and refreshed energy.

Release your concerns and stresses on the way in.

Receive a blessing in the center at the core of your being.
